Studio Poplar 113

Studio Poplar 113 is handmade in our Co. Down workshop using Claessens Fine Acrylic Primed Belgian Linen 113 stretched onto our standard 19mm poplar stretcher.

By standardising sizes and batch production, we are able to offer the same premium Milliken Bros quality at a more accessible price point and with shorter lead times than bespoke canvases.

The 19mm poplar stretcher offers greater stability and refinement, while Claessens 113 is regarded as one of the finest acrylic primed linens available, with a smooth surface particularly suited to detailed brushwork, portraiture and glazing techniques.

All canvases are traditionally edge tacked for excellent tension and supplied with beech wood keys.
